Polar Ice

A few days ago Ryan told me he wanted to go out to dinner and to a surprise afterwards. So we went to the Bass Pro Shop and ate at their seafood restaurant and Ryan ate alligator! Yuck, I wouldn't even try it but he swears it was really good. I'll take his word for it. And then afterwards he drove me to Polar Ice to go ice skating! He had hidden a sweater and a pair of socks in the backseat for me, how cute. I had only done it once before about 15 years ago. Truthfully, I was a little apprehensive. But it was soooooo fun! I was awful of course and wouldn't let go of Ryan for anything. Actually, I think he liked it ;-) But I was really happy that we went and we decided to take Kylee sometime this week. I'll have to fill you in on how that goes, ha! After Polar Ice, I was ready for a few frosty beers so we went to a sports bar by the house called Blue 32. It was neat. After a couple beers we headed home early, as usual. I was hoping to catch Kylee awake but she was dead asleep unfortunately. I'm such a sap, I miss them so much when I leave I just can't wait to get home and see them.

what? did he take some cues from danny????? sounds like it. That is awesome that he did that. OK I dont know about dinner at bass pro shop (they have food?) but the ice skating with hidden sweater is too cute. NICE RYAN!

That was really sweet of him (I love the surprise!)
Since my B-Day is in January, we always used to go ice skating for my Birthday. Of course, now that I'm older- I've missed a few years...but maybe I'll bring BACK the tradition this year!?
