New Moon

I'm sure everyone reading this knows that New Moon released last night at midnight BUT lucky me was able to get my hands on tickets for the advanced screening for 7pm last night! My friend Christina and I had decided to meet at Gordon Biersch for a happy hour drink before the movie. I got there at 5pm and had to drive by the theater to get to Gordon's. The line for the midnight showing was already wrapped around the building! What the hell is wrong with those people, ha! After a couple of beers and getting something to eat we walked over to the theater and got to the usher who takes the tickets and what do you know?.... I'm missing one! It is not to be found anywhere in my purse. Christina ran back to the restaurant, where it wasn't found. I ran to my truck, where it wasn't found. ThenChristina talks me into going back to the restaurant a second time and someone had just found it! How lucky is that? So we were able to go, and I must say that the movie is FANTABULOUS! I hated the movie Twilight, though loved the book. I had a feeling this movie would be better and it was much better. Jacob is so hot! I was team Jacob from the very beginning of reading New Moon almost two years ago. Something about a man who is rail thin, wears designer clothes, and drives a sports car is gay and very feminine to me, but a man who can work on cars and knows how to use his hands? HOT HOT HOT! I love Jacob.

i told my students that the first person to get me a copy (yes, illegal i know, but so many of them or their parents do it, was trying to cash in) would get a 100% on their reading log for the week (something they despise)...unfortunately no one delivered, dang it!

how ever did you score those tickets? no matter i guess, glad you found the missing one and were able to enjoy the show!

if you love jacob, you should read a book called shiver. it is a love story about a wereworlf, quick read, but sooooooo good!
