Moving On

Even though we still have an offer on a house we found a couple months ago, we have been looking at others in the meantime. Since that one is a short sale, we may not hear back on our offer for some time yet. And boy, did we find a house today. We found this fantastic house in an equestrian (horse property) subdivision on 3/4 acre for an amazingly low price, even for a foreclosure. We put a strong offer in today and hope to hear back on it in a couple of days. It does have some work to be done to it though. Quite a bit in fact. A good majority of it would be in landscaping, but there's cosmetic work on the interior too that needs some help. This house was a tiny bit over our budget but considering the absolute beautiful neighborhood and the amazing homes that are all around it, we figured it was worth every penny (plus some!).
close up of the front of the house

3 car garage and a circular gravel drive that you can see the beginning of on the right side of pic

a super cool front porch that has a stunning view of the san tan mountains

one of the garages is a pull through to the backyard

one side of the backyard

the other side of the backyard. we wont be doing anything fancy, just putting grass in

the great room and eat in area

the kitchen - it's small but has beautiful maple cabinets and corian countertops

the den on the left and entryway

the master bedroom - it's a little on the small side too, we were hoping for a suite

guest bath is really nice

bedroom #2

bedroom #3
The house is 2000sf which is much smaller than we've been looking at, 3000sf. but it has so much potential and is in a FANTASTIC neighborhood and area. And the best part, it's not out as far as we've been looking at the past few months. It's still queen creek but not the end of the earth queen creek. Thankfully!

I could really see you guys in that house....but I don't want to get your hopes up (I know how that feels!)
You must be a huge fan of kitchens, because that one is not small to me at all- but I DON'T cook, so that's probably why! haaa
