We took the kiddos fishing in a subdivision lake tonight after dinner. I had been bugging Ryan for about a year to take at least one of them with him fishing when he goes. He finally gave in tonight. I have to admit, it was a lot of work to keep them away from the water's edge. Nolan about made my heart stop once or twice by getting too close and stumbling. Good flippin lord! They didn't get to see any fishies, daddy didn't catch any. He blamed it on me cause I made him stay in the shallowest part of the lake for the kids. I don't care, their safety was #1 to me. But it would have been nice for the kids to see a real fishy up close cause we talked it up for about an hour before getting there. Oh well, maybe next time? Happy Father's Day anyway babe!

bummer ryan didn't catch any fish, but, i bet it sure was special that the kiddos got to try to catch some with him!
my kids can't get enough of the ducks either when we go to my parents to visit!

Happy Father's Day to Ryan! Both pics of him helping the kiddos cast were adorable. He seems to be very interactive with them.
