Viva Las...

VEGAS!!

It was my first trip away from the babies and I was so excited to stay over one night in Vegas. Ryan's friend George, and his wife Tanya, offered to watch the kids overnight for us. I owe her big time, she's the one who watched Kylee for 6 weeks for me when I was having problems with my last pregnancy. She'll probably never know how much I appreciate her.

Vegas was so fun and relaxing. My favorite part???...... Being able to eat a meal without interuption! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner (especially dinner) is always a fiasco for me. I can't ever sit down and eat without having to get up and do something for one or both of them. I usually always end up eating my food cold or sometimes not even being able to get back to it. So it was nice to be able to eat what I want and when I want without being bothered.

Ryan's reason for taking me to Vegas was for me to do some shopping for myself. And what did I buy? One tank top! And then I bought a bunch of stuff for the kids of course. That's how it is now, it's more fun to shop for them now than it is for myself. I'd rather spend it on them anyway. Besides, we lost enough gambling. It's probably a good thing I didn't spend a lot shopping for myself. It turns out that I have a love for roulet... but I'm absolutely no good at it! Lesson learned, I probably wont be playing roulet again! All in all, it was fun and I was happy to get away for a while. I missed my kiddos so much. I cried on Sunday, just a little. I wanted to see them and didn't want to wait for the plane ride home. I don't understand how people are able to spend nights or even weekends away from their kids?? It was heartbreaking.

We went and saw Zumanity - HOLY SHIT!! That was the most sexual, sensual show I have ever seen in my life. It was awesome, but very explicit. I guess I should have expected that, being it was Vegas and all. Ryan thought it was alright too except for the gay stuff, ha! I'm just happy that I got him away from the tables long enough to see a show. We had fun and drank a few beers but we were asleep by 10pm! I'm such a mom now, I get so tired at the end of the day! Then again, I was up at 5am that morning because we had such an early flight.
